My name is Ann E. Kolber and I am the founding member of Law Practice, Ltd. I have more than 30 years of legal and business experience and have developed extensive litigation skills over the course of my career. I pride myself in my ability to successfully negotiate the resolution of disputes whenever possible.
I practice family law, focusing on high conflict custody matters, complex divorce litigation, uncontested proceedings and settlements, and pre- and post-marital agreements. I find great meaning working directly with clients on matters that deeply affect their lives. I help families navigate a wide range of stressful, emotional, and complex legal challenges because I know how important it is to have a caring, competent, and effective advocate in any family law matter. I provide empathetic and logical assistance to all of my clients who are in need of support during a difficult and confusing time. I take my responsibilities seriously, knowing that the results I achieve will have long-lasting effects. Our practice is primarily devoted to family law, and I have the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to resolve legal matters so that my clients can move on with their lives. I approach each client's case with a caring and clear action plan tailored to their specific needs and am adept at negotiating resolutions as well as aggressively pursuing litigated outcomes.
I am licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and the State of California and have established a professional reputation for thoroughness, strategic thinking, and keen attention to detail, over the course of my more than 30 year legal career. My good standing among the family court judges and practitioners in Clark County, Nevada is a testament to my honesty and dedication.
I received my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, and my law degree at Golden Gate University, School of Law. I believe in giving back to my community, having proudly sponsored several local high school sports programs, supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation "Race for the Cure," volunteered as an inter-collegiate moot court judge at the Rebel Trojan Moot Court Competition at UNLV Boyd School of Law, and assisted with the pro-bono "Ask-a-Lawyer" program.
When not working hard, I enjoy family time, hiking in Red Rock Canyon with my Labrador retrievers, searching for the best sushi, and cheering for our Las Vegas Golden Knights. I love to travel, and my goal is to find a new and exciting destination every year.
